Chronos Consulting’s client is a leading global supplier of software that optimizes process manufacturing across multiple industries. Due to expansion, this is a newly created role in Mexico. As the Software Quality Assurance Manager, you will develop and oversee a new team within the Asset Performance Management group.
Reporting to the Director located in USA and interacting with colleagues in China, USA and Mexico, you will be responsible for:
Selecting, hiring, leading and growing a new team up to 10 quality engineers.
Support and develop a team in gathering functional requirements, information and data to proactively drive Best Practices.
Understanding of software development practices, to help create and execute testing for market-leading products.
Creating test procedures and objectives in accordance with the technical specs.
Engaging with cross functional team on project updates, review outcome and performance analysis.
Performing and testing client’s products to support the next generation solutions.
Ensuring effective communications with international development centers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related degree in Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of overall experience coupled with 3 – 5 years in a leadership role
Previous leadership and supervising experience is a must ( ideally as a Team Leader)
Ability to innovate and pursue new ideas in testing strategies.
Experience in scripts for API and UI and automation testing tools such as C#, Java, Python, PowerShell, Selenium, JMeter, ALM/VSTS.
Understanding of deployment infrastructures and virtualization.
Advanced English (reporting to Director in the USA)
