Chronos Consulting’s client is a leading global supplier of software that optimizes process manufacturing across multiple industries. This is a newly created position in the organisation in Mexico. The Software Development Manager will lead the Asset Performance Management team to support and help in building the next-generation predictive analytics solution for asset maintenance and optimization.
The Role:
Reporting to a Director located in the USA, you will be responsible for:
Managing the development, maintenance and support of the software modules and components and participate in its transformation to a scalable, microservice-based architecture
Recruiting and Managing the daily activities of a team of 10 located in Mexico
Creating design, use case, architecture and specification documents for the product
Adhering to standard processes for agile development, new feature implementation, defect processing, source code control and unit testing
Providing technical support to product management, product marketing, services and business consulting
Work with the Customer Support and Quality Engineering teams to support customer and product issues, as well as, functional and feature testing.
The Requirements:
Bachelor´s Degree with a minimum 4 years of experience as a team leader
Experience managing and leading a team of software developers
Full-stack development experience including C#/.NET and SQL databases
Experience developing micro services or RESTful services
Advanced English is mandatory, as you will report to a manager located in USA
