Sales Support Coordinator

Chronos Consulting ’s client is a global top leading company dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of high precision industrial parts, which is used in automotive, medical devices among others. We are currently for a Sales Support Coordinator for a permanent opportunity in their facilities in Alajuela.
The individual in this role interacts directly with customers and is a principal point of contact for customers seeking price quotes. S/he facilitates communication between the customer, and the sales and service teams, and is a single point of contact for the company’s 2nd and 3rd tier customers (by order volume).
You will responsible for:
Developing and maintaining a knowledge of company products (specific product lines and services provided to our customers).
Ensuring that customers receive accurate information as quickly as possible through a variety of channels (e.g. – email, phone, etc.) as an initial point of customer contact and education.
Facilitating smooth and regular internal communication.
Managing customer relationships in ways which build confidence in company capabilities.
Generating reports which increase awareness and facilitate decision-making.
8+ years of total work experience, with at least 2 years of experience with primary responsibility for high volume administrative or sales support.
Manufacturing experience: previous work experience in roles in which the primary duties were customer-facing support (sales support, customer service, tech support, and similar), supply chain/materials buying or management of a high volume of complex detail, or organizations that manufacture/produce products.
Strong experience managing simultaneous projects with competing deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
A demonstrable understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering concepts and customer relationship management systems including office productivity software.
Fluent, bilingual language capability in English & Spanish.
Willingness to participate in sporadic travel to customer locations.
