Chronos Consulting’s client is multinational providing operational quality management solutions for the Automotive sector, activities range from inspection to expert auditing, consulting and training. This is a newly created position; we are seeking a business development leader as Director, Consulting Services covering USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.  You will communicate effectively with industry contacts, generate relevant and compelling solutions-based conversations and achieve market expansion and revenue delivery/growth goals.

This is a home office role and you are ideally located in the Eastern ( ET time zone)

The Role: 

Reporting to the Vice President of Americas, you will be responsible for:

Identifying and implementing new growth opportunities and possibilities for expansion of new and existing services with current and prospective customers in the assigned customer base or key markets ( the primary focus is USA and Mexico)

Providing onsite and remote consulting activities to include aspects of team coaching/training, service or program management and delivery of the service at customer sites.

Participating in developing and/or delivering Best Practice content to industry as a subject matter expert.

Leveraging industry contacts, discovering, recognizing, and understanding needs, in order to educate prospective clients about our client solutions to problems that demonstrate tangible ROI.

Partnering successfully with cross-functional teams of management, operations, marketing and sales, engineering, consultants and quality professionals in order to identify opportunities, win new business and successfully deliver results.

Gathering insights directly from the market through 1:1 meetings and industry networking including participation in industry groups, committees, working groups and events.

The Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 15 years of technical experience in quality engineering, supplier quality / purchasing function in the automotive and/or heavy transportation industries ( OEM background preferred)

Experience identifying problems, developing solutions, and delivering results within OEM’s or Tier 1 Suppliers in one or more areas of business/process improvement, product launch, quality, engineering, supply chain, crisis management, turnaround, or risk mitigation.

Strong analytical and conceptual skills, passionate about problem solving with ability to assemble a team of internal experts to provide solutions to customer challenges that will deliver value to the customer.

Able to work remotely; an independent, results driven, self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, who can find and deliver without the need to be tightly managed.
