Chronos Consulting’s client is a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer. We are seeking a
Production Manager in charge of coordinating and managing 3 shifts of production
to achieve high quality, low cost, on-time product while achieving safety objectives.
Relocation support within Mexico is offered.
The Role:
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for:
Meeting key metrics related to safety, quality, cost, delivery and maintaining plant
floor focus, “go and see”, engaging with all shifts.
Ensuring closely adhere to company´s Lean Manufacturing System practices.
Managing manufacturing planning tools: molding, paint and assembly workbooks.
Training team, managers and supervisors.
Participating in PPS Root Cause problem solving activities.
Engaging in new product development and pre-launch activities, ensuring
manufacturing department participation.
The Requirements:
Bachelor´s Degree with minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
Solid experience with plastic molding, paint and assembly processes in the
automotive industry.
Solid knowledge in IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
Business English required.
