Chronos Consulting’s client is seeking a motivated self-starter to help drive adoption of multi-cloud services and solutions as part of their transformation journey to the public cloud. You possess hands-on experience, designing, and deploying multi-cloud-based solutions with a focus on Network and Security. As an ACE-Cloud Solution Architect, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Cloud IT team to plan, analyze, design, build, test and deploy enterprise public multi-cloud Networking and Security Architecture and strategy. The Role:
Reporting to: Program Director, you will be:
Engaging collaboratively with team members as well as 3rd party vendors to assist with developing multi-cloud networking and security modernization roadmaps for our multi-cloud strategy.
Possess a hands-on approach for emerging cloud technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost-effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
Developing, the document, make recommendations and communicate plans for investing in IT cloud infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction on-prem opportunities.
Presenting a multi-cloud solution to both business and technical audiences – including the ability to present to senior leadership.
Providing cloud architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to systems analysts, IT cloud engineers, and other systems architects.
Developing a cloud technology standards policy.
Designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of end-to-end IT cloud-integrated systems.
The Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience designing and deploying a Private/Hybrid Cloud environment
Professional, or Design Architect level Aviatrix Certified Engineer (ACE) Multi-Cloud Architecture Certification.
Professional level Certification from one of the leading Cloud Provider such as AWS Solutions Architect -Professional, or Azure Solutions Architect Professional or GCP equivalent.
Experienced in multi-cloud networking and security architectures and Deep understanding of multi-clouds (at least one of AWS, AZURE, GCP or OCI).
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure: Networking and Security (must have), Storage, and Compute.
Understanding with network topologies and technologies with emphasis on network gateways (ingress/egress).
Application migration best practices and experience with large-scale cloud deployments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, which will be vital in driving customers and internal communications.
