| Job Description | Reporting to the Laboratory Director, you will:
Provide technical support to clients and organize client off-site/on-site meetings as required.
Review technical data, documents and proposals as required.
Writes protocols, technical reports for R & D department.
Coordinates method transfers between clients, R & D group and FP department.
Provides technical support to clients in relation to R & D, Validation and Technology Transfer, customer with quotations for technical work.
Reviews technical data, documents, and proposals as required.
Coordinates execution of larger projects and communicates regularly with internal/external clients.
Assist Sales and Marketing with technical support opportunities and with new business development as required
Schedule daily projects and other duties for staff and ensure all equipment in R&D lab is in good repair and functioning according to set standards.
Prepare and organize training on new SOP and all relevant SOP revisions and verify that training has been satisfactory and ongoing technical training and develop staff to enable to perform technical tasks and present external training courses/seminars.

| Skill Required | University degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry or a related science degree (PhD would be a strong asset).
Minimum of 10 years previous experience in analytical laboratory management with a heavy focus on Research, Design and Validation.
Knowledge of biochemistry principles plus demonstrated expertise in one or more disciplines of cell biology and analytical chemistry required.
Ability to coordinate and manage a department and its workload and interpret and analyze data.
Troubleshoot equipment problems as needed to minimize down time.
Capable of interacting with all levels of management, suppliers and clients.
Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail with excellent report writing skills.
Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
Proficiency in French would be a strong asset.
Candidates must be proficient in using various type of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
