Job Description• To develop the requirements for cost control reporting and to ensure that these reports are prepared and submitted to the Project and Cost Control lead Engineer within the required timeframes. • To identify any negative cost measurement trends and to give information trends to the Project and Cost Control Lead Engineer • Perform analyses of proposed scope changes and report to the Project and the Project and Cost Control Lead Engineer • To assist the Project and Cost Control Lead Engineer • To ensure that all requirements of the contract with the engineering company and project documents related to the control of project costs are understood, free of error and ambiguity, and without conflict. • To ensure that progress measurement and cost monitoring systems are implemented in accordance with requirements of Project Control documents • Checks the actual schedules and compare the planned and actual progress data implemented by the contractors on a weekly basis • Compiles the monthly progress reports. • Cooperate with the contractors counterpart in the compilation of the monthly progress reports of the construction sites. • Identify any negative schedule trends, particularly on the critical path, and to report these trends. • Participate in the development of preventive action plans to rectify negative schedule trends. • After having completed the control of the progress payments, ensure that progress payments are in compliance with requirements and submit them to Project and Cost Control Lead Engineer for approval signature. • To ensure that progress measurement and cost monitoring systems are implemented in accordance with requirements of Project Control documents.
Skill Required• Minimum of 3 years relevant project experience related to the oil and gas industry. • The ability to identify problems and deliver solutions through effective communication and relevant skills is the pivotal attribute. • Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, MS Project, Primavera. • Confident with good written and oral communication skills in English. • Willingness to learn and have the ability to work effectively under pressure - working to deadlines and be able to prioritize workload. • Highly self-motivated, have good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity. • Having team spirit and adaptable to a dynamic environment. • Having interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
