| Job Description | Reporting to the Vice President, you will be responsible for generating new global & regional business from international customers – particular focus on the power, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.
Drive the global key account, sales and marketing strategy - identify and target the service offering to attractive industrial projects
Close working relationship with the global business managers, Competence Center leaders and Business management teams to identify sales opportunities for new/existing clients with new/existing services for new/existing markets
Conduct regular customer visits to maintain and improve relationships
Support and prepare for the pre- qualification process, prepare tenders and negotiate contracts with clients in consultation with regional sales executives
Ensure sales organization achieves objectives with required profitability
Prepare and deliver sales and marketing material; attend exhibitions and other promotional activities
Prepare regional sales forecasts and feasibility studies for new services
Maintain and monitor performance against sales targets for regional sales executives
Participate to the annual budget planning process for the business unit |
| Skill Required | University degree with a technical background and understanding, preferably an Engineer (BSc) or equivalent
10 to 15 years experience , with at least 5 years in a senior sales or leadership position coupled with practical experience of large industrial projects preferably as a project manager
Currently in a senior sales position with at least regional responsibility with a strong personal network as a basis for generating new business
Knowledge and understanding of: Quality requirements, Industrial verification, inspection, certification and testing; QA/QC and supply chain management, HSE regulations, standards, methods, best practice and basic understanding of NDT and testing methods
Coordinate and motivate a global multicultural sales team towards a common goal and translate sales business strategy into pragmatic action plans and execute
works well under pressure and works independently in coordinating several complex activities simultaneously
Plan, organize and implement a range of sales promotion programs and events
Proven track record in sales activities and principles including key account management, with related technical knowledge
Interact with all levels of customer management (including CEO) and works well under pressure
Negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
Solid communication and interpersonal skills and ability to make tough calls
Fluent English plus any additional local languages a plus
