Company DescriptionOur client is a global provider of enterprise wireless solutions. The company delivers multi-service wireless connectivity in large public venues and facilities such as airports, hospitals, hotels, manufacturing plants, office buildings and sports venues. The company is currently seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager to join the company’s sales team, support strategic sales initiatives into the Cellular and WIMAX Operators as well as, in a second phase, to the Enterprises in the United Kingdom and Western Europe region.
Job Description• Reporting to the Senior Director of International Sales and BD. • Work with the company’s potential and existing clients and partners in the region. • The position will cover the UK to start with and will extend to other western European countries later on. • The Regional Sales Manager will manage client opportunities from identification through deployment and will lead pre-sales targeting, sales calls and post-sales coordination as required. • Full Time employee /Full time freelance (100% position). Will be working from a home office.
Skill Required• B.A. /B.Sc or equivalent Engineering Degree. An MBA is an advantage • Minimum 10 years sales or sales engineering experience. • Experience selling technical products to the Wireless telecom market. Proven track record of successful sales in exact or related fields. • Minimum of 5 years experience with Wireless Operators (must include Vodafone(. • Strong technical skills and knowledge in Wireless/Mobility/cellular networks. etc. • Experience in managing the sales cycle and providing regional forecasts. • Proactive approach, Possess a "hunter" mentality. • Experience in penetrating new markets and opening new channels/accounts. • Native English speaker with strong verbal, presenting and written communication skills-must, proficiency in other languages – advantage. • Excellent negotiator, experienced with senior level decision makers. • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. • Worked with / in a cellular operator (Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile etc.) or large equipment vendor (e.g. Ericson, Nortel etc.)- desirable. • Experience in the field of Indoor RF- desirable.
