| Job Description | This job position is placed in Geology Business Unit and Geological Disciplines Organizational Unit.
Responsabilities:
• To provide advice on company´s petrophysical activities (acquisition, processing and interpretation of data) acting as the reference figure in this discipline.
• To assist exploration groups in designing, planning and managing the necessary logging and coring programmes and petrophysical studies while monitoring the QC procedures of the data acquired.
• To identify company´s technological requirements and to keep company technologically updated in every process involving wireline logging, LWD and coring.
• To liase with logging contractors and exploration groups to ensure cost effective accomplishment of company´s annual logging programme.
• To contribute to an efficient knowledge transfer within the company.
• To monitor the adherence to Company´s HSE policies and procedures of logging and coring operations.
• To assist Exploration and Purchase Groups in evaluating bids of tenders for WLL, LWD and Coring.
• To collaborate on the definition of the necessary in-house training programme related to the discipline.

| Skill Required | Requirements:
• Degree in Petrophysics, Geology or Engineering
• >15 years working experience in relevant petrophysical groups in well data acquisition, processing and interpretation.
• Proficient use of interpretational applications created by the major service companies.
• Good team player. Capable of working effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Proven effective skills in Communication and Problem Solving being self motivated.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
