Due to their continuous growth, they are currently looking for highly motivated and customer focused Customer Support Engineers to join their Customer Support Group. This position is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate technical knowledge and work with a highly experienced group of engineers. The Customer Support Engineer is an integral part of the Support Organization. You will be responsible for the deployment of current and future products at customer sites. The Customer Support Engineer is also responsible for the on-site and remote support of issues raised by customers. You should be a result driven person capable of working independently and within a team to resolve time critical deployment and production issues.
Job DescriptionAt first, your primary responsibility will be implementing and maintain the Content Filtering system in the mobile network. In addition, you will be involved in handling technical support issues for our existing customers, and assisting the launch of new services and products. Duties for this position will include: · Responsible for the maintenance of the Content Filtering system · Handle calls and email inquiries from customers and provide technical support. · Implement software changes remotely, and at customer locations. · Install, integrate and test products at customer’s locations. · Support customer acceptance of products. · Travel to customer sites and be the primary interface with the customer during the product integration phase. · Provide product training programs for customers. · Support field sales activities by providing technical assistance.
Skill Required· Proficient in UNIX/Linux System Administration · Knowledgeable in TCP/IP networking · Familiar in mobile network technologies · Knowledgeable in customer support processes and tools · Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office · Education: 4 year technical degree, Computer Science preferred · Relevant Experience: 2+ years · Excellent verbal and written communications skills, well organized. Must have good attitude and interpersonal skills. · Effectively interfaces with customers directly or indirectly to handle their requests · Travel: ~20% Fluent Italian and English please
