Company DescriptionOur client is looking for account executives who can identify, qualify, develop and maintain existing and new sales opportunities and clients at allocated strategic accounts and territory to generate revenues. This role comprises activities relating to all scientific, clinical and consultative services offered by our client and their wholly-owned subsidiaries. The successful candidate must be independent and goal oriented with good problem analysis and resolution skills with the ability to multi-task and delegate in order to meet aggressive deadlines and targeted metrics. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to sell complex engagement services on a large scale.
Job DescriptionAchieve agreed sales and client-specific targets for a defined client base and territory · Manage sales process for defined new and existing clients and territory · Build grow sustainable business relationships with client R&D key decision makers (scientists and procurement specialists) · Sell the specified services business lines as the business requires · Create and communicate client and territory business plans to achieve agreed business results · Harness and coordinate Synarc resources to build a successful business through focused client team approach · Manage client relationship management process for defined clients and geography directly and indirectly via complex matrix of client-services support teams · Excellent time management
Skill Required Bachelor Degree in business or biologic sciences. Optional higher degree (MBA, PhD) · Minimum eight years + sales and/or marketing experience · Skilled in verbal and written communications including performing presentations, negotiations, and/or scientific correspondence · Completed a formal professional sales training program (within the last year) · Strong judgment and decision making capabilities, applying on a broad basis the principles, theories, and concepts of sales and marketing · Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, drug development and the clinical trial process Other Skills/Abilities: · Extensive computer and business application experience with Outlook, Salesforce.com or Siebel CRM, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access · Passionate self-starter that is flexible and adapts well to changing business environs NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
