Job Description

Provide technical expertise in evaluating new exploration and production opportunities particularly in geological interpretation, well data analysis, well-to-well correlations, construction of subsurface maps and petroleum system analysis.
Participate in prospect and field evaluation process, with volumetric estimates and technical risks assessment.
Integrate all geological data available to arrive at a good understanding of the petroleum system of a sedimentary basin.
Effectively communicate technical results of technical evaluations and studies to functional management, both written and verbally.
Mentor, coach and train junior colleagues in geological techniques, work flows and best practices.

Job Qualifications

Master science or equivalent degree in Geoscience from an international recognized institute or university.
At least 15 years relevant experience with an international operator.
Experience in generating new exploration and production opportunities and skills to evaluate new projects.
Software skills in an integrated workstation environment is essential.
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
Working Knowledge in English is essential.
