Job Description

The purpose of Company Control is to secure compliance, governance and risk management in the areas of legal entity accounting and taxation, as well as securing funding and equity levels.
Company Control is the prime guarantor for quality in legal entity accounting records.
Company Control also provides expert accounting and taxation advice to support the business, and optimizes financial flows and taxation aspects in cross boarder transactions between legal entities.
Company Control will operate worldwide out of 20 hubs to ensure critical mass, enabling an improved competence structure while still maintaining closeness to business.
Company Control Hub consists of 3 pillars: Company Controlling, Treasury & Credit Management, and Tax Management.
In the pillar Company Controlling we employ Company Controlling Managers and Company Controlling Specialists.

Job Qualifications

Academic degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
Knowledgeable in GAAP (i.e. local GAAPs, IFRS, and Group Directives) and understanding of financial systems
Perform Period-End-Closing: accounts reconciliation, valuation, analysis of legal entity IS/BS, prepare journal vouchers
Ensure alignment with global financial processes and accounting directives
Provide high quality accounting and financial reporting
Provide correct Legal Entity Income Statements and Balance Sheets
Support legal forecasting, statutory and FIRE audits, efficiency and quality programs within Company Controlling and also with financial advice
Perform asset control activities
Monitor precision in Transfer Pricing and initiate corrective actions
Maintain external contracts database and general ledger master data
Prepare statutory accounts, notes, reports and statistical returns
Perform records retention governance activities
Support development of financial processes and also identification and mitigation of financial risks
Signoff of applicable SOX controls
Signing of applicable SOX key controls
English (fluent oral and writing) German language and/or other Central European languages would be beneficial
Drive, Integrity, and Perspective
Result orientation, Analytical, Networking/Team player, Perseverance, Accurate, Proactive initiator
