Job Description
The Role:
Reporting to the Director of R&D, you will be responsible for
Managing and leading the R&D team of 6 Senior Scientists, Project Manager and lab technicians in the USA.
Administration and technical direction of the R&D group Oversee and manage new products development an innovation with US based clients and interact and collaborate with international teams Complete full project follow-up and completion of necessary project documents including recipe creation. Provide solutions and technical support to team members, vendors, customers and operations when problems arise with products Oversee client visits and actively involved in the multiple projects and closely interacting with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Quality teams. Ensure development of internal and external customers relations and maintaining constant communication. Responsible for timely project management and support head of R&D with budgeting and resource planning Advise and support the sales team on technical and application matters
Job Qualifications
The Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science (Masters degree preferred). 8 to 10 + years of relevant experience in the food industry Experiencing managing multiple R&D projects and managed a technical team Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal relation skills, strong analytical mind, flexibility and willing open to travel (up to 20%) Software knowledge of Word and Excel plus SAP, Access and Power Point would be an asset.
