Job Description

Focus on well design based on well surveillance and production optimization.
Contribute to all well operations activities relating to the design and performance of development wells.
Challenge existing designs and operational processes in order to apply best technologies and practices, and minimize operating costs.
Identify, evaluate and propose innovative Production Technology strategies to enhance Well Construction and Well Operation performance.

Regarding well operation you should:

Ensure that mechanical integrity of the down hole, wellhead and Xmas tree structures are monitored and maintained.
Assist with the planning and scheduling of well work.
Provide the most cost effective solutions to well operability issues.

Job Qualifications

Minimum bachelor degree in Engineering.
At least 10-15 years EP experience as a Production Technologist.
Working knowledge in English is essential
Availability to travel to various Assets for complete tasks.
Ability to be an effective networker and to work in smalls teams with minimum supervision.

Specific technical requirements:

Experience in field/well operation (stimulation design, injection design, well test operation, well completion):

Experience in artificial lift and fluid design.
Experience in sand control completions.
Experience in developing technology and applying new technical concepts.

Familiarity with well surveillance techniques, field development planning, and the fundamentals of well design, diagnosis and optimization.

Understanding of surface facility operation, reservoir fluid flow, established and emerging technology, workovers, short-term production enhancement, and system de-bottlenecking will be useful.

Prior knowledge of the following software packages would be an advantage:

Nodal analysis.
Well test analysis.
Integrated Asset Models.
Production Data Management Systems.
