Chief Operating Officer

 The key role is to assist the CEO to design, develop and implement the strategic policies of the company in the most cost effective and time efficient manner.
Assist the CEO in overseeing the Corporation’s achievement and maintenance of a satisfactory competitive position within its industry;
Plan and direct the organization’s activities to achieve agreed targets and main standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture and Corporate Governance.
Direct the executive team to performance in accordance with the company policies.
Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and will all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and official bodies.
Report to the CEO on organizational plans and performance.
Responsible for both the day-to-day running of the company and developing business plans for the long-term future of the organization.
Accountable to the CEO for the Executive Committee of the company. It is the CEO that grants the COO the authority to “run” the company.
