Chronos Consulting’s client is a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer. We are seeking a
Manufacturing Engineering Manager to be responsible of the engineering team at
the plant and responsible for developing and delivering robust product designes,
tooling and processes to production. Relocation support within Mexico is offered.
The Role:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:
Directing, prioritizing and scheduling activities of the team to achieve plant and
department performance objectives for safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
Directing the development, validation, documentation, control of all: injection
molding processes, molding automation systems, paint processes, robot programs,
paint automation systems and assembly processes.
Leading Root Cause problem solving and Continuous Improvement activities
collaborating with the plant Lean Manufacturing team on eliminating waste and
implementing lean tools and practices.
Directing tool and equipment preventive maintenance and repairs.
Ensuring compliance with all OSHA and other regulatory, safety and environmental
standards and procedures.
Administrating and tracking cost reduction efforts.
The Requirements:
Bachelor´s Degree with a minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
Solid experience in engineering department with plastic molding, paint and
assembly processes in the automotive industry.
Advanced English is mandatory.
