Sales and Account Manager Enterprise Saas Cologne

 

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring European customers’ needs are met by coordinating and communicating with them regularly along with product, ops and engineering teams internally. This is a key position within the company and this candidate will be the face of the company in Europe. 
 
This position initially requires up to 40% travel.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
1) Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals by identifying and closing new sales opportunities within targeted accounts as well as existing customers.
2) Maintain customer relationships across Europe; meet regularly with customers to brief on roadmap and product/service availability; ensure customers feel supported and innovative using their suite of products
3) Build direct relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives at organizations across various verticals in mid-to-large market accounts
4) Present solutions using value-based sales approaches and techniques working closely with Product Managers and Sales Engineers
5) Drive entire sales process from introduction to proposal to close
6) Pull in the right team members to provide technical consulting regarding products and communicate benefits
7) Communicate customer feedback and requirements to Product and Engineering teams for incorporation into product roadmap
8) Manage and respond to inbound lead requests
9) Stay apprised of potential sales opportunities and draft associated proposals
10) Assist in the scope, sizing, and schedule management of projects and associated tasks.
11) Communicate engineering and support needs to internal development team, located locally and across other timezones.
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years experience in a commission-based (individual contributor) enterprise Saas sales role
5+ years interfacing directly with customers in large organizations
Experience selling technology, and ideally, SaaS solutions
Strong communication and writing skills in fluent English, additional European language skills will be an advantage.
