Chronos Consulting's client is a leading global outsourced Laboratory Services company.

We are seeking an analytical mindset to focus on all financial aspects of the business to drive profitability. You will be working closely with the global matrix team, utilizing your financial and leadership skill sets to optimize and drive strategy.  This position has high visibility and exposure within the organization and can offer career advancement opportunities.

The Role:

Reporting to the Global VP and working closely with the CFO, you will:

Report, plan & forecast, analyze, review and support the international business

Manage and control the budget, forecast & mid-range plan (including full variance analysis) and ownership of month end reporting process

Execute effective decision making for capital expansion, acquisition, and business development planning.

Enhance business performance by influencing, advising, and supporting the matrix leadership team on financial, economic, strategic decisions, pricing, partner & customer deals, and product introductions, etc.

Implement and analyze KPIs, develop financial tools and drive Continuous Improvements & Best Practices for process optimization

  

The Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Finance, coupled with a leadership role and 10+ years’ experience in Financial Controls and Planning

Industry experience from pharmaceutical, chemical, industrial, food, or environmental laboratory services would be ideal

Competent in analyzing and supporting end-to-end acquisitions, capital expansion, and business development

Commercial acumen, financial, and analytical skill sets with a strong commitment to achieving targets and driving performance in a fast-moving business environment

Multi-cultural exposure, ability to work collaboratively with international teams, well-organized, autonomous, and capable of taking initiative

Contribute and influence business decisions and challenge status quo

Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills within all levels of the organization
